I've always been an artist, but I found my true passion working with fiber.

In late 2007, I learned how to knit. Very soon after that, a need to know where my yarn came from turned me into a spinner. From there it was only a matter of time before my fiber addiction grew to include dyeing, felting, and stitching.

With a focus on natural fibers and sustainable practices, I create wool felt sculptures, handspun yarns, and one-of-a-kind botanically dyed textiles.

SLO are my married initials. They can be read as "slow" - a hopeful word in a world that often moves too fast. I hope you find something here that inspires you.
